LOUGHEED MALL CIRCA 1989

It's been 25 years, three locations and a name change since Jeweliette Jewellery has been accessorizing brides, the social set and the city's most glamorous personalities. It all started on a cart in Lougheed Mall where Madalena got her start selling hand-painted leather jewellery and accessories. The cart was so popular that soon the tiny space was outgrown and expanded to Pacific Centre Mall in 1990 under the name Sharp and Friends. Here we managed to utilize every inch of space from floor to ceiling with sparkling jewellery and handbags. It was not unusual to spot a rhinestone bra or rhinestone skirt ensemble in the displays!

In 2002, the shop was renamed Jeweliette Jewellery, relocated to Seymour Street and shared with couturier Manuel Mendoza. A playground to costume designers, fashion stylists and magazine editors it was here that we began to find our niche in high quality special occasion jewellery. In September 2012, we moved to Hornby Street and couldn't be happier to continue doing what we love in our atelier style salon!
